MACHU PICCHU was built on the sacred valley of inkas, 80 km northeast from cusco city, it was built in the fifteenth century by the ninth king of TAWANTIN SUYO empire, PACHACUTEC. Machu Picchu one of the 7 wonder, enchants to each traveler with its majestic landscape and millenary history and the mountains give it a final look so that each traveler fall in love with this unique place

ITINERARY

 

Day 1 tours to sacred valley

Cusco – ollantaytambo – aguas calientes

Departure 7 AM

 

One hour from the hotel will be our first stop, “the Andean colors installations”, there we are going to have opportunity to feed and take pictures with the Llamas and alpacas, then we are going to learn about alpaca fiber and all organic textiles. “The salt mine of Maras” (optional) we are going to visit this place 40 minutes, then immediately we move to the archaeological side of MORAY, this was like an agricultural experimentation center. And finally we are going to go to the archaeological park of OLLANTAYTAMBO, this will be the last stop on the first day.

Then we are going to take our train to Machupicchu

Day 2 machupicchu

Aguas calientes – machupicchu – aguas calientes – cusco

 

The most anticipated day of your life, visit the machupicchu archaeological park 3 hours with a guide will be a reason for many photos and information about this sacred place. In the afternoon we will return to Cusco by train

Andean Colors

In our first stop we will visit an enterprising family, there we will have the opportunity to walk for 20 minutes with llamas where you can take photos to caress and feed him, after this small walk we will have a 15-minute talk with a professional about the process of elaboration of textiles in alpaca fibers.

 

 

Moray

Second stop ANDENES DE MORAY are circular terraces that were used as an agricultural experimentation center, that is, in the Inca period, they used to adapt plants from different climates since this experimentation center had different micro climates; 1 hour visit time.

 

 

Maras

Third stop Las SALINERAS DE MARAS This natural beauty is in the middle of the mountains, its more than 3000 salt wells make it look like a snow-covered valley; We will have the opportunity to see its people work in the harvest of salt in an artisanal and ancestral way, this salt mine was worked from the pre-Inca period which was transferred from generation to generation lasting 40 minutes.

 

 

Ollantaytambo

Fourth stop OLLANTAYTABO a most important archaeological center in our journey of the sacred valley. With unique and spectacular views; You can continue your trip to Machu Picchu 1.30 hours.
